On-call Building Inspection and Code Enforcement Services
APP is providing as-needed building inspection services for the County’s Building Services Division and on-call code enforcement services for the Code Compliance Division. APP team members perform tasks similar to those completed by County employees and work in the agency’s offices and in the field countywide.
Current building inspection task order responsibilities include: Reviewing structures for conformance with the County’s adopted building code. Areas of focus include commercial and residential building design, as defined by the approved set of plans, and providing support services to the County’s Department of Planning and Development services.
Current code enforcement task order responsibilities include: Serving as adjunct staff, making field visits and conducting investigations of reported violations of state laws, County ordinances and other regulations. Issues addressed include building, zoning, grading, use of buildings and other structures; solid waste storage, collection, transport, and disposal; graffiti; abandoned vehicles; and public nuisance abatement.
